has anyone used these? I have only seen them in one place online and was hoping that they match closely to real sai.
It would be nice to be able to train with something that would allow me to actually use them in a practical application to the fullest without the danger of real metal sai

A sai seems a hard implement to make a boffer of. If its rigid, it by definition is dangerous due to the design.
Are you skilled with sais?

Do not underestimate the number of people not privvy to what you consider common knowledge.
Theres so unfathomably much information out there, we at most have had exposure to a trillionth of a percent of it.

Yeah, but...it's TMNT, EVERYONE knows TMNT.;)
Seriously though, I'm not sure, I'm sure someone somewhere tried to make them, though they'd be essentially the same as the real weapons, since Sai don't have an edge on them anyways, and that's the only thing that would be taken off. For them to be floppy and soft would destroy their effectiveness as a practice weapon.
*edit* However, with a quick google search I came up with this: Rubber practice Sai.
I stand corrected.

i totally agree, and yes about the sai.
by no means would i not still take precautions due the rigidity, but one would not have to be QUITE so cautious as one with just regular sai
