Marijuana lethargic effects- Do you simply ignore them?

I probably could post this in the pub, but I don't want to get flamed for talking about side effects to the safest substance on the planet.
I am curious how all you stoners feel about the marijuana lazy side effect's? I smoke just about every day and I choose to ignore it, if I'm high I can usually stay up forever as long as I am thinking about things. But the lethargicness can be annoying sometimes and make me want to sit in my chair.

It all depends, as long as I'm doing something I can stay up for hours. If I'm just chilling with friends... nothng on this planet can keep me awake for more than a couple hours.

I'm a pretty hardcore stoner and I am usually up very late when I am blazing my bong at night- sometimes I get into that amazing zone of being high- but I don't get that blasted during the day, because I am too lost in my thoughts
group vibes are always good for staying up I think, unless I am around people that are really boring- like non weed smokers or people with their girl friends

Cannabis indicas are very often narcotic. One of the reasons is because of compounds like CBD. This particular compound is usually not present or present in much lower amounts in Cannabis sativa.
Cannabis sativas are very often stimulating. One of the reasons is because of a compound called THCV, only found in sativas.
The sad part is prohibition and dea/drug dealers has caused most to grow indoors, where the much larger sativas can be almost unmanageable.
Another big difference is that sativas originate from closer to the equator than indicas. This means they are designed for much higher light levels and longer seasons. They are not as profitable for the cash cropper, as indoor they simply take longer and don't do as well.
I grow both but smoke sativa 80% of the time, I am medical but if I wanted to be a zombie 24/7 I would take pills.
Point is there is better weed out there, it is not all narcotic. The sativa I smoke in the morning would keep me up all night if I smoked it before bed.

I smoke 100% sativas regularly, or 80% of the time...basically till after dinner. It's tough to find a pure sativa these days, but they are out there.
Some will do relatively well indoor too, but they will all take longer....and get out of hand quick in a closet or smaller (very big plants).
I dunno where to start on naming pure sativas for you, there are so many. Nearly every country near the equator has a sativa named after it.
Oaxaca, Columbia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malawi, India, Lebanon
Look on one of the million seed sites there are out there, you'll see it can get even more overwhelming than looking at spores. I don't buy seed from those sites (I get them same way most of you get prints, but on a different forum), but you'll get an idea of what to look for.

I agree with ya 100%, sativas are excellent for outdoor activities, social events, or just reading some shroomery teks on the pc. I grow both though because I've learned indicas have their own uses. Some sativas can get a lil' crazy like increased heart rate and slight paranoia, along with your wildly increased brain activity and urge to get up and do stuff. I actually like it, but I drink alot of coffee too. Some peeps can't handle it. Sux to cause someone to have an anxiety attack when your trying to kick it and smoke them out.
Luckily, we have hybrids, and with a 4 way cross, you can have your 75% sativa with no anxiety, and still have no couchlock, bloodshot half closed eyes, drymouth, and munchies most indicas exhibit.
Some things for you newer type tokers to think about.

It seems to me that if your gonna grow and sell it indica is the way to go because most people think that being couchlocked is being more high, and its quicker to flower. For personal use id grow sativa, or both.I dont like being couchlocked unless maybe I had a rough day the day before and just want to relax.

THE HIPPIE SPEEDBALL! WEED + COFFEE!
I'm stoned pretty much every waking hour of every day. I fight the laziness by drinking lots of coffee/energy drinks.
And by not being a bitch.

my only problem with a strong sativa- while it gives me tons of energy my mind races like crazy, but they are def good for stoner adventures!! caffeine+weed is very nice!!
