Plexiglas prints

if you made a print on a piece of Plexiglas, covered it with another piece of Plexiglas, pressed securely and taped 2 sides to keep them together, would the spores be crushed? And if they weren't contaminated before you taped it together, would it stay safe from contamination?

not sure about plexiglass, but if you did that with glass, with alchol wiped down plates, and of course done it in a steralile glove box then its a great way for long term print storage.

Here's a much ezer way to store a print. I use self laminating pouches. They come in a few sizes, but are generally for wallet sized pictures. You can find them in just about any craft store, or located in any store with a school supply type aisle.



One side is like a sheet of tape (Back). You open the sleeve, peel off the lair revealing the adhesive. Place the print in facing the non adhesive side, then seal it up. When you wanna use them, just cut off the sealed edges around the foil, and the non adhesive side will come off of the face of the print.



Simple, sanitary, classy way to store a print :naughty:

Some do come off on the non adhesive plastic side the prints are pushed up against, but 99% stay on the foil.

Have a Hobby Lobby store near you ? I did a store search, and hobby lobby stores look Nation wide (America). I found them the cheapest at hobby lobby, and I liked the quality of the ones from hobby lobby also. Staples, and office max actually had the most expensive ones.

Nah, I live in Canada. I don't think we have any Hobby Lobbies up here. I'm ok with spendin a couple extra bucks to get some nice prints like that anyway.
