Horse Poo Question
    #1010905 - 10/31/02 04:59 PM (21 years, 3 months ago)

Anybody know where I can buy some dried horse poo, or any alternatives or suggestions on how I may acquire some?
I?ve been too, Wal Mart, Revy Home and Garden, and Home hardware.
And all I came up with is some ICE Melter Calcium Chloride that I'm going to use as desiccant.
I live in AB Canada, and am nowhere near horses and don't really feel like running around pastures looking for poo.

The best shit is the shit you find in a field. If you aren't willing to go look for it then don't even bother trying it.

But scots 3 in 1 is supposed to work. Im not in canada though.

Actually any manure compost will work, but he's right it doesn't work quite as well as freshly picked manure...  You can get cow/horse manure usually in 20 or 50lbs bags at your local home depot or lows stores, or almost any bigger plant and craft stores such as the one we've got here called Franks Nursery and Crafts...

Well Chief you may be right about not EVERY one will work, but most do, they just usually colonize slower...and no i don't pay for it anymore...on one side of my g/fs house is a horse farm and the other side is a cow farm, they both give me all the shit i can handle!!! But he's probably right, not everyone will work...don't get the compost that says Mushroom Compost, but MOST cow/horse compost will work!!
