Yep i do the same except I used some 10lb bag of horse poo / straw I got from a vendor.

Nice!
I also took the lazy man's route just recently... I had about four pint jars of colonized EQ rye and was waiting on a few things before I made a monotub... Got lazy and said f*** it and simply shredded some cow patties and mixed them with coir and worm castings before making some outdoor beds... Layered the spawn and substrate and have been watering since... 2 weeks later I have pins... and lots of 'em! I can't take the suspense I just want them to grow up!
Hahahah happy shroomin to ya! Can't wait til I get my first homegrown trip as welllllllll

I never thought to make my personal prints in those type of containers...I could put a self healing port in the top, w/poly fill or micropore tape in the other hole, to inject water in and suck out the spore solution. easy spore syringes. thanx for that pic.

How do you think this cold front that is passin through Fl will affect the development of my pins? I have about 40+ pins that started poppin through and then got slammed with this cold weather... You think it will just slow their development until it warms back up?
Ps, me likey the 10 yr old too

Yeah dude,I was thinking that very thing.It's supposed to get in the low 30's tonight here.What part of Florida are you in?Anyway,they will stay dormant until this cold passes,then continue to grow once the conditions are right

I'm currently located in Gatorsville at the moment...
I'm thinking about just covering my outdoor piles w/ a small rubbermaid w/ holes in order to keep in the humidity and hopefully some heat so they keep growin!

Dont worry about the cold. I put my stuff outdoor in Feb. It was cold for almost a month. Once it started warming up outside in around march, I was getting pins. It may slow them down a lil but it wont hurt anything.

Yeah,i forgot,i spawned some colonized Brown rice outdoors in February too,and it was right before the brutal cold snap we had where temps dipped into the low 20's.Well as soon as it warmed up the shrooms started poppin

I seriously hope that is not a 10 year old, and i would be taking that down. There is enough sickos in the world without encouring (even if that is infact a very young looking 18 year old)
