Casing with straight verm - pointless?

Just curious on people's personal opinions.

Is casing with 100% verm rather pointless?

The reason I would case in the first place is for higher yields, more flushes. Would I still achieve this using verm straight?

Yes you would, casing with verm is actually a good idea, especially for your first case, just be on the look out for your casing drying up. Verm is good cause its non nutritious so contams have a hard time growing on it.

That may not be deep enough for 3 crumbled cakes. If you want to stick with the pan, I'd say do 1 1/2 or 2 cakes. If you want to stick with a 3 cake casing, get a bigger container.

Well that would depend on the size of the cakes. But with my estimation that would be able to hold somewhere around 1.9 pints. So yea even 3 half pts would be cutting it kinda slim.

I agree with you and skikid.. cutting it close... Why not get a HUGE containter and use those 3 cakes to spawn it? Would increase your harvest greatly.
