take a peek at some cubies its probably going to be my last shroom trip tonight because the weather is getting cold here and they will be out of season soon. Btw.. i am from south ms. does anyone here know when they will began growing again? I might start growing my own anyway. Tell me what you think of the pics
look at the shroom in the middle, notice how the cap looks all deformed? What is up with that and also the 2 on the left in the last pic look rotten. That leaves me with 4 shrooms.. i hope i trip tonight... need opinions plz..
All your specimens look PERFECTLY fine. I don't see any rot occurring.The following thread from somebody who bought mushrooms is a good example of what cubes look like when they are rotten.
Nice find! They all look happy and healthy. The deformity you are inquiring about could have occurred when the mushroom grew up throught the grass. If not a genetic deformity, sometimes blades of grass will crease the caps of forming fruit bodies. Happy trails!
