Last weilii hunt of the season
    #1011251 - 10/31/02 09:41 PM (14 years, 1 month ago)

Well... tonight some friends and I went trick or treating(yeah, we're a bit old for that). As we were leaving the 2nd house I saw a mushroom growing in some pinestaw in the yard.
Score! It was a weilii! Sorry... no pics this time. I continued to look as we went through the neighborhood.... found about 35 total, I'm sure that number would have been much higher if it were day time. Being the kind person I am, I gave them all to a friend who had been hunting for them for a month with no results.
I believe that is the last find of the season because tomorrow night its dropping down to 30.

Moral of the story: if you're still looking, they're still out, but you better go tomorrow(nov 1st) or the next day before they're all dead and rotten.

Yeah man, that was pretty nice, I want to be your friend. So why is finding welli's such a big deal? Is it cause they are potent, or just the novelty of finding them is their allure? Just wondering. Cool story.

yeh, my spot is fizzling out too methinks.

I went today and picked about 20, leaving about 10 more baby shrooms to develop so i can pick and give to my girlfriend

Im very happy with the results i came up with late in the season.. over 150 in all in about 2 weeks
