Advice on FC setup

I have recently made a FC and am running a cool mist humidfier. I just want to make sure that everything is setup correctly and if there is anything else I need to get. I have the FC in a tub that elevated by stands so that a layer of water is at the bottom, would I need to purchase a fish tank heater to help bring up the humidity/temp as well? Would I need to seal the sides of the FC to help prevent the escape of humidity/temp? I have a layer of perlite at the bottom of the FC, but I am going to be placing the casing/substrate in aluminum pans to set in the chamber. Temp is at 67 and RH is at 85 (currently)

The worst place for your dirty shirts is laying on top of your fruiting chamber. That setup is either going to flood your fc, saturating your substrates or dry them out. Get rid of the humidifier and hoses, etc., and build a shotgun terrarium per the tek and you'll be good to go. RR

Everything you have looks great! ~70F is just fine for fruiting and the condensation on the walls of your fruiting chamber says the humidity is around 100% inside your FC. Don't trust or buy cheap hydrometers. Also, don't seal up anything in your FC. Fresh air exchange is critical and the condensation on the inside of your FC reveals a proper rigging. I suggest the Poor Man's Pod in any case, but if this is all you have to work with... Great setup and keep us posted!

Not so.
Condensation is an indication of temperature differential and has nothing to do with humidity. My windows have condensation all winter on the inside when the humidity is at 30% in the house. RR

I agree with your statement, however that amount of condensation in his pics at room temperature with a cool mist humidifier indicates at least a sufficient amount of humidity. That's all I meant to imply. I had a rig similar at one point that simply blew up my casings with moisture and flushed hardcore. It is though quite a bit of overkill considering all options available. Plus you never know what sort of crap from the air you're blowing directly into your FC from your humidifier. Go with a shotgun or PMP.

Duely noted on the clothes (wasn't even thinking about that). As far as FAE I have another outlet on the top of the terrarium and five holes on the black tray at the base. So I am guessing that what my settings are at right now with lead to slow growth? Correct?
Probably should have mentioned this in the OP but I am using WBS instead of PF cakes. Its that I have just spent so much in setup that I don't really want to spend anymore to make a shotgun terrarium.

Oh. I don't have anything in the terrarium as of yet. Just wanting to get numbers where they need to be before I start.

No, not necessarily at all. RR was just saying that your rig might not retain proper humidity and your cakes/casings won't have enough water to fruit. As I said, I've tried something very similar with casings and had great results. Just be sure that your humidifier hose isn't blowing directly onto your casings. Point the end of the hose towards the side of the tub.

I have the hose pointed toward the side already so the water droplets (if any that get through) run down the side.
I guess I need to go back and tweak some stuff to maintain/increase proper RH.
