Its like a mycologists playground! I found coir, air pumps, polyester fiber, calci-sand (Calcium carbonate), WBS, and a bunch of other cool stuff. A few quick questions though:
The polyester fiber - is it polyfill? it says its 100% polyester and its for aquarium pumps (to filter shit out of the water) usable? I went to the hobby store and they looked at me funny when i asked for pillow stuffing..
Calci-Sand- The shit i found glows in the dark or is colored. Will that effect anything? I did a search on it, but no one seemed to have a definitive yes or no answer.

The polyester stuff should be fine. Polyfil is just spun polyesters (100% as well). The only reason we use it instead of cotton is that it's not organic.
Not sure about the calci-sand.

I wouldnt use it if it glowed in the dark that means it has other stuff in it.
and that stuff is not polyfill
polyfill is the stuff in teddy bears, I would tell you to go do the store and buy a pillow but some pillows have other things in them
or buy a teddy bear and rip it apart after you buy it at the counter and take out its stuffing, leaving the fuzzy little remains of its skin for the staff to clean up.

if u are looking for polyfil its about 1$ for a giant bag at walmart in the sewing section it also doesnt really matter what you use as a filter as long as it will keep unwanted things out and allow for air exchange. i read on some1s grow log they used polyfil on the upper holes and tyvek on the lower holes closer to the substrate because he said the shrooms would grow into it and it became a mess to separate them from the polyfill good luck

anyhow Im almost positive its the same stuff. Im not talking about the blue filter pads for aquarium pumps and shit. Its just a bag of polyester fiber, looks EXACTLY like polyfill, but whatever, Ill just go get the real shit.
And i dont trust anything that glows in the dark, so thats out lol. With all the heat and moisture we apply to subs, there would probly be some strange chemical reaction and Id end up growing a third arm. Which might be helpful for the glovebox, but Ill pass.
Sidenote: Does anybody have/use one of these? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000634980/ref=s9_sdps_c2_s6_p79_t1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=1ZFBNZWPWACZCPADZ850&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938811&pf_rd_i=507846

if you read the review it only helps to produce 60% rh at most so if you need 90+ not what you want
go on ebay and search for vicks cool mist if ur getting it to make a greenhouse its all u need, just put it in the bottom of the GH with a cpl feet distance from the trays and it will last you forever not to mention itll save u the effort of configuring ultra+cool mist and all that other junk that will just burn out after a month

Yeah i was gonna say go back to petco cause they have foggers there too but they only have the exo-terra ones that cost $50 and burn out quick...but petco really is the place to get your supplies! They literally have everything you would need.. wbs, coir, lights, foggers, all that good stuff...
