Sure, why not? That's how its done in nature right? I would test it out in several LC to make sure you don't get contams though.

you can't tell if an LC is contaminated. Assuming you're a beginner, it's possible, but the wild fruit will have contaminants on it. Which will contaminate your spore print. No print is 100% sterile, but a wild print will be a lot less sterile I think
You'll probably have better luck if you buy spores from a vendor or use agar (not LC) to isolate the mushroom mycelium away from the contaminants.
I guess there's a few ways you could go about using a wild cube. You could use the spores, as you said. Or you could do a tissue clone to agar, or wet corrugated cardboard. Or you could throw the tissue into a LC (liquid culture) but that is not recommended, as you wont be able to tell the healthy growth from the contams, like you would be able to with agar or cardboard (if you don't have agar).

A 'LC' is a liquid culture. Basically, to ensure you have a clean source, you can germinate those spores in a liquid to generate mycellium, then spawn a jar or other medium from it to test for contaminates. Once you have a clean LC, you can then grow from that and from the mushrooms and spores that result.
The advantage being that at this point you can use this method to make the most of your limited source of spores.

yea i think your only real choice is to clone it with an agar dish. Where do you plan on finding wild cubes??

Or liquid culture, the tissue inside the stipe is probly a lot cleaner, if not sterile.
