Help, I have qt. jars that are over 2 weeks old, and only at %20

Hey guys, I have a question. Let's start at the beginning. I innoced qt. jars with a syringe. Oh and all the jars have 4, i'd say 1/16 holes (maybe smaller), filtered with 2 pieces of tyvek each. They all got at least 2cc of spore solution. I soaked the grain for 24h, and then i boiled (without bursting kernels), then I drain and shook. THe grain was prepared along side RR video's, it looked really good before pcing and after, it passed the toilet paper test (numerous times) before going into to the jar. Im almost positive the moister content was correct.... My question is this, its been 2 weeks, and i just shook the first jar, that was reasonable to shake (>25% colonized). THe rest of the jars are getting somewhere near the shaking percentage, but no where near 100% colonized, which is where RR and others say I should be at this point (i think). Any help would be appreciated!
P.S. Im sorry, that Im posting a straight up noob question, but I couldnt find a post that directly correlated with my situation. P.S.S I think it might be the lack of gas exchange, due to the small holes. But maybe not, because you could easily fit a syringe into them, and there's 4 to every jar. P.S.S.S GRRRR!

if you notice darker wet spots in parts of the jar, were it looks starchy it may be bacterial contaminated. i had jars that stopped colonizing while the one jar that survived took off. it was bacteria. and its a bitch, if u smell a fermenting smell coming from your jars you have bacteria and its not salvageable.

OH, and I innoced by lifting the lid, in a glove box. THe spores germinated in a proper amount of time. Id say the first specs of white were visible within 3 days. I think i might be being a worry wart, but maybe not. Thanks again for your help!

no problem, just wait and see what happens, quart jars are pretty decent size.

Inoculation from spore syringe takes a while. Don't worry about where you "should" be at this point, because multispore grows have a lot of variance. And I suspect RR and others' colonization times are based off of LC or agar, where the spore germination has already happened, knocking a good chunk of time off their grow. It sounds like your grains are doing fine to me.
