Does the horse pooh look right?
    #10104787 - 04/04/09 11:36 AM (15 years, 9 months ago)

I started with the PF tek, then moved onto casing with colonized rye, now I am wanting to move on to horse pooh and straw. I placed an ad on craigslist for horse pooh, and got a call to come get all i wanted for free. He had 2 piles, one fresh and one about a year old. I opted for the year old pooh. Does it look like it should? I also found a bale of straw for $3.                                    [image]http://www.shroomery.org/forums/thumbs/09-14/886610153-thumb_horse_pooh_and_straw.jpg[/image]

Well, from the small thumbnail image it looks pretty dry and viable, however it's hard to tell it's actual contents from just a small picture. May I refer you to Roadkill's horse poo tek: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/669310

McKenna: I think that I am always, from the very first psychedelic experience, had the uncanny intuition that "Yes this has been around for 50,000 years" but it somehow going to be critically important in our lifetime. That we will need it for something. Maybe just to think our way out of the mess that we're getting into.
Shulgin: If it's needed, we have it. That's the beauty. The tool is there. For the time when the need is obvious. And this may be our lifetime...

I can see one photo but it doesn't enlarge.

Your year old Hpoo should be great.

I put 1/4" x 1/4" wire mesh over a 5 gallon bucket and grind the poo nuggets through it.  You can also just break the nuggets up by hand.  Whatever turns you on.

Have fun playing with the poo !
