Syringe Question? what to do ?

So I made a LC  I pcd some syringes and was testing them out... I left water in them so I could inject more water in to the LC and as I plunged the water out, out came tiny and not to tiny specks of stuff that was inside the needle... Whats the probability of it being contaminated?? The myc in the jar is now growing around some of these specks.. Should i toss?  And no i didnt take pics...

did you flame sterilize the needle before sticking it into the LC? if so your probably good. But just make up a test jar and try it on it, Youll know in a few days if its fine or not.

i feel pretty confident in my procedures...but not overly confident... it was my first lc and i was making up test jars to see if it was any good... No i didnt flame it.I did pull it out straight from foil from pcing while in glove box and used alcohol to wipe it down.. didnt wanna have a kaboom in my glove box....

Flame sterilizing the needle is not to sterilize the out side of the needle. Alch can do that but it is to sterilize the inside of the needle. many dont understand that. But there may be a chance that what you had in you needle wasnt killed with the short flame sterilizing so just do a test jar
