cleaning process using agar

How do you obtain a clean culture? I tried to select clean mycelium and inoculate a new petri dish, but I always carry some pennicillium, should I bath the wedge in a peroxide solution? It shouldn't be neccessary I thought:crazy:

That means you're taking too large a piece.  Always transfer away from contaminants and take a piece no larger than a grain of rice.  If you have a flow hood, shut it off before opening a contaminated dish so the air doesn't blow the contaminant spores around.  As soon as new growth appears in the transferred piece, immediately transfer from the leading edge again, before molds have a chance to sporulate.  After a few transfers, you'll have a clean culture.
