I'd be concerned about the 2700K color rating.. the daylight range, around 6500K, is supposed to be the best to use.

How do you figure it's perfect?
That's even redder than an incandescent light bulb. You need to get 6,500 Kelvin for best pinning performance. That would be a horrible lamp for mushrooms. RR

The first bulb i used was a 1740lumen 6500k daylight compact flourescent, thats a good bulb. I dont even use one anymore, they sit in a room kinda by a window and catch enough natural light. You probably just picked up the wrong spectrum man.

oh my bad.. i thought those compact fluoros were like regular fluoros.. i thought reg. fuoros put off a perfect planting spectrum.. then again i guess shrooms arent pot plants lol
idk i use a regular long type PLANT & AQUARIIUM FLUORO bulb..
it says 15watts, 510 lumens, 5000 Kelvin

RR always coming to the rescue. I thought the color spectrum was too low. I'm going to go pick up some 6500k bulbs. That isn't the spectrum of direct sunlight right? Because if it is, wouldn't that dry them out?
