Fruiting um place?

I am gonna have 4 cakes going... i have this entertainment center and at the bottom its a little um space it opens up its kinda small but cakes will fit... do i need to put some type of containter inside of it then put the cakes in the container or can i just put them in the bottom thing if like i sterilize everything, maybe put plastic around it or something?

i know the conditions i just wanna know if this will be suitable... if i just leave the door open to the cabinet that its in willl it get enough light or will i need to like install some type of light inside?

It wont work unless you can maintain a certain level of humidity inside the cabinet. light is minimal but good air exchange is important. Why not just put a small container with perlite in there and you will have at least the humidity problem solved.

Listen to Blaze. You need a semi closed environment to keep the proper rh level, especially when working with cakes.
