I went to a feed store looking for bulk wbs he had some but it was mixed with mollassis syrup. So I got a big bag of seprate bird foods. The store made mixed bird food on site hense the syrup.
Im not sure how to go about mixing them should I use more of one. What mix ratios would you use. He also had sunflower seeds but no smaller bags of it so I did not get any. And also found some crushed osyter shell about 2 bucks for 2.5 pounds. I had a hard time finding that one at pet stores.
All of that stuff came to 15 bucks about.

you prob could have gone with straight white millet and gotten good results. cracked corn and sunflower seeds arent necessarily a necessity. its just that its easier for most people to get wbs instead of straight millet. i could be wrong...

The only rye they had was mixed with grass seed. It came pre-mixed to the store. The organic vegan hippy store sells 20 pound rye for about 20 bucks but its a bit of a drive to get there.

You should ask if they can get if for you.I had the hardest time finding it and used to buy it at the health food store but it was way over priced, than I fond a feed store(Its a cruise)But its half price there so you just have to stock up so you don't have to go often, just google "Feed store in..your state" you may find on.I mean I found one and there sure the fuck is not livestock near me,even though its kinda far I still don't understand how the place stays in business but o well, they have rye at a decent price and thats what matters
