1989 Cold War nation simulator

We're starting up a nation simulator game here. There are still more than plenty of nation's open. The concepts hard to explain, but you're basically the head of a nation, and try to realistically roleplay how your country would act. The rest, you can read the rules for.
I just signed up for East Germany myself, gonna kick some non-socialist ass with the help of the soviets

That's pretty neat.
I don't have the time, and it's not my favorite time period.
But very cool nonetheless.

Yeh, it's not very easy if you're not a poly sci major and have to look a bunch of stuff up. But the roleplaying part isn't too hard for me, since you basically have to just write formally like a politician, or in some cases a journalist.
It's a good, fun way to learn about international politics though

Most of the other nationsims allow the more advanced players to play NGO's like terrorist groups.
You'd probably want to just pick up some ravaged African nation like Congo or Somolia, or one of the more obscure ones. I'm not sure which would be the best for 1989, Libya maybe.

If you still don't get it, send a PM to the 18yo chick in charge of India. I'm talking to her on MSN messenger right now.
I mean, unless you don't like 18yo chicks.
