Hi Everyone, and thank you for reading this.
I previously used malt extract for my agar projects. Unfortunatly they didnt sell it anymore at the nature stores. Instead i bought Corn-malt syrup

ingredients *corn *malt *water
I think it would be OK to use. I searched through the forums. Which told me malt is Ok, or Karo corn syrup. But i am very curious about your opinions before i put alot of effort into this.
I also want to use this for liquid culture (first time). What do you guys think? will it require alot of filtering? will it work at all?
Thank you very much for your time!

I have yet to ever accomplish anything productive with agar so I will not give advice there but I have tried many things with LC and in my own experience nothing beats honey right out of the little plastic bear's head

I would try making a small amount - maybe a 3% solution?

After some hard searching, i found out that in the field of making beer they use malt extract powder as a yeast starter.
So for my fellow countrymen (dutch) if you cant find malt extract powder check your local 'bierbrouwerij'
i bought it there 3 times as cheap as azarius has.
