SO MANY CONTAMS

Pretty much every time i inoculate a jar it got contaminated within a week...i only had mycleium growth once and i threw it out because it was stalling...I follow the PF tek down to the last word. I think i might be wetting the verm layer when i sterilize the jars(boil sterilize). Its pretty much been the same contam everytime...a sour smelling bacterial contamination. What do you think the problem is?

Nonsense. You don't need a pressure cooker for the pf tek. If you're preparing your jars as shown in the brf tek, then I'd say your inoculant is contaminated. Watch all four of the videos and make sure you're doing it properly first. Don't cut any corners and remember, your dry verm layer is your filter and it must stay 100% DRY to work. RR

amen to RR.
stop smelling your suspected contaminations. you will end up getting very ill if you keep that up.
PC is not necessary. 90 minutes worth of steam sterilization will do the trick

It takes a few tried to get it perfect sometimes, but if you keep trying to be more and more sterile each time you do it, you'll eventually have success. Don't get discouraged.

i think my dry verm layer keeps gettin wet...i think it seeps through the masking tape...probably when the steam goes up and condenses on the inside of the foil...any way to prevent this? thanks

If you have masking tape on, as well as foil, then that is not your problem. If you're really convinced it is, put multiple layers of tape on, but if you already have that stuff there, it's likely not your problem.
It could be one of any number of things besides that, such as where you're inoculating, how you're going about inoculating, and the like. Just remember to be REALLY sterile, and realize that there are contaminant spores EVERYWHERE, so don't take unnecessary risks and don't cut corners. Use a glove box, flame sterilize the needle between jars, cover the holes with micropore tape once inoculated. Again, keep trying and you'll eventually succeed.
