Moist when its wrong,regardless of how long I drain it even if it feels dry enough when I jar it up....As I said its fucked up and just unexplainable

Do it right next time LoL. Just playing I usually do WBS and love it, I am also going to try some long grain brown rice because RR says it is like rye.

Maybe try not to simmer if your doing so, agar never simmered his BB WBS, yet i have to, so i guess it is mysterious stuff lol.

I never simmer my WBS either. I just soak and rinse then drain.. I do agar's bucket tek for preparing wbs minus the simmer.

O,already had that bookmarked . Man Ive tried it all,at least I found a source of rye that is nearly half what I used to pay and since for the time being I am only growing edibles I will probably be going through it more slowly anyway

What I do is I soak the wbs for 24-36 hours then drain it and then fill it and drain again and again till it runs clean. I then let it sit upside down for 4-6 hours then load it into jars and PC it for 90 minutes.

I think that is pretty much what I did last time but I may as well try,I bought a big bag and don't see myself on a park bench actually feeding birds anytime soon so worst case scenario is It doesn't work again

I went and bought 4 pounds of long grain brown rice and it is soaking now.
