Just a reminder to you all. You should try to give blood at least once a year.
Please, I urge you all to Find A Blood Drive in your area. Not only can it save your life someday, but imagine saving the life of three people with one donation!
Imagine your children, parents, brothers, sisters, other family members, and our soldiers that sacrifice daily for us. If them or you have ever had major surgery, or needed a transfusion, chances are that it came from a wonderful donor.
Please do your small part for humanity, find a blood drive near you and give this wonderful gift. Sure, it hurts for a second, but just imagine saving innocent lives for your small sacrifice. If you're unable to donate for any reason then a monetary contribution of even $1 can go a long way. We can all give something and it doesn't have to be blood. Even though the blood is very important, you can still give to a great cause through a contribution.

Yeah fuck that.
No ones sticking anything in my veins and no one is extracting any blood from my body. I don't care who it's for, it's not coming from me.

I smoked pot for many many years (Still do, just not as much, makes me paranoid ) but the ladies say just don't mention it.
As far as tattoos you only have to wait one year.
If you shoot smack, do meth, or whatever else then you can't for obvious reasons, but weed & shrooms just don't mention it and you'll be good.

I'd rather die then get blood. I hate needles, I refuse for anymore needles to ever extract or inject ANYTHING into my body. I dislike them so much that I'd rather die then be saved by a simple blood transfusion.

ive given blood twice and it was because the blood drive was at my school and it got me outta english class. god that was a shitty class.

You can give blood within a year of getting at tattoo or a piercing... the reason they hesitate is because they used to be un-sterile and now they show you the needle and if you don't tell them they won't know. If you had aids they could tell and not use your blood and its the same with pot. I smoked the day before I gave blood and I never heard back!
