Hmmm Interesting. They look real nice.
Are they Hoffman & Wasson strain or the Blosser? Are they inside all the time, any growing tips you can offer?

hmm im not sure which strains they are, is there any way to find out??
they have been inside since early october and ive been giving them about 16 hours of blue light a day.
i fertilize my babies about once a month:). when they were outside i was using fish fertilizer but when i put fish fert. inside it pretty much stunk up the whole room and attracted a shit load of flies so i made the switch to inorganic, probably gonna keep it at that until i move them back out i live in montreal so they can only stay out for 5-6 months, im probably gonna move them outside when the temp gets right around mid may
one thing that i've noticed is that the more cuttings i take from my mother plant, the faster it grows. so i would recommend taking as many cuttings as possible

The differences in salvia strains are really minor.

Nice plants man. I used to grow some but then I realized that I'm not really too big on salvia and I pretty much had enough. They grow pretty fast usually.

About the strains, Im no expert just quoting stuff here.
"Hoffman/Wasson leaves have a distinctly taste to them. Blosser/Palatable leaves taste more neutral." "Hoffman & Wasson strain is shorter and slightly hardier than the Blosser strain, but reportedly the leaves are somewhat more bitter"
More cuttings the faster it grows hay, nice.

Ya, Blosser is definitely more palatable, it's the only one I'd ever recommend quidding. H&W, though, should not be shorter than the blosser. I talk to a lot of salvia growers, including one guy who has multiple 10ft plants, and most seem to think HW grows taller and faster than Blosser. Dead on about it being hardier though, my H&W have come back from some serious accidental abuse :p

You should try Salvia tea then. Using the same ammount you´d quid, just make a tea out of it, the bitterness doesn´t comes with the tea, its pretty easy to get it down.

I thought salvia wasn't active through the stomach lining?
Do you hold it in your mouth?

i heard bad stuff about salvia tea. doesnt sit well in the stomach and causes bloating and cramps, also i dont know if it has the same effects through the digestive tract
if youre gonna quid, its prob a good idea to floss first to dilate your blood vessels
