pc 1 quart jar at a time

1 quart jars are large. I got 10cc of b+ and I have read 2cc per rye quart jar.
Instructions say pc jars for 90 mins. Well, if that's meant for multiple jars, what about 1 quart jar on its side pc for 45 or 60 mins each? Id figure due to math, 1 quart is less to do so should take less time. Let me know, imma do this tonite, and don't wanna do each jar for 90 mins...seems like overkill.
Yes I searched forums and couldn't find this anywhere. I feel like I have to say in every post that I am looking before I ask.

It takes that long to get the heat saturated to the center of the jar. If you don't PC them long enough, contams in the center will survive and eventually ruin your jar - but you won't notice it for a week or two, so lots of wasted time/planning.

I used to do 75 minutes and never had any problems.
I switched to 90 minutes just because it's better to be safe than sorry and it doesn't hurt to just leave it sitting there for another 15 minutes.
And buy a new PC, bro. They got 8qt. Presto's at walmart for like $40, and ya can do three quarts.

75 minutes is fine for pint jars, but 90 minutes is required for quart jars.
I would inoculate even quart jars with 1cc of spore solution. What good does the extra spore solution do? Just gives you too many spores, which hurts your yields later on. And anyway you shake your grain jars at 20-30% so the little time you gain at colonization speeds by using the extra cc of spores doesn't make up for the poorer results at fruiting.

so i pc 3 jars last night, ran out of mix, so brought a little more to a boil, simmmered and let cool overnight. looks and feels exactly like soaked grain...woke up and pc another jar from last night, ran out of time to pc last jar before work, have micropore tape over holes, covered in foil, put in fridge. will pc tonight.
i noc the 3 jars i had pc last night, the grains kinda stuck to the syringe....shook the jars, set them in the dark, will see how this goes. used 5 cc on 3 jars.
