is it normal to have a headache that last the whole day after you eat mushrooms? the last two times i've tripped pretty hard i woke up with a headache that lasted all day. Maybe i used my brain too much. it was an all around headache, not just focused in one spot. the intencity would increase and decrease all day. what's up with this?

I sometimes get headaches after tripping, don't worry about it. Your brain is probably just tired after all that activity.

It's probably de-hydration. This happens because you pee/sweat a lot. Drink plenty of water now and on future experiments.
Good luck

Just as Dreamatrix stated, it is probably dehydration. Additionally, psylocibin tends to leach calcium from one's system. Calcium is essential for muscle functioning as well as being the building blocks for the skeletal system.
If you don't take calcium as a supplement, I suggest you ingest 1200 mg of calcium (post mushroom experience), as well as up your intake of water.
A hot shower with the shower head concentrated on your neck and head can do immense wonders in relieving your headache. Also, taking a bath in epsom salts (follow the directions on the box) works wonders in relaxing musculature.
Where is the headache most painful (between the eyes, on the sides of your head, hurts whenever you turn your head)? By knowing where the pain radiates, I can possibly tell you what area to target in order to relieve the pain. Just a suggestion. PM me if you want to know more.
Peace to Everyone,

it's usualy around the back of the head toward the front. in the middle top.(kinda like a headach mohawk, like if if you put you hand on top of your head, the ache is comeing from as much area as your hand can cover.. it's not that it's one of those really intence headaches, but it's there. i didnt pee as much as i normal do, but i did go 5-6 times. i did take a shower, and it helped alot, but it was still there. i spose i shold have taken an asprin, but then i would have to find some.

An Ice pack on the back of the neck and on the top (and sides) of the head will help immensely. The cranium (skull) is covered in several layers of tissue known as fascia. Each layer has the capacity of exerting 4,000 pounds of pressure per square inch ~ up to 36,000 pounds.
Wnen the body becomes dehydrated and depleted in calcium, these layers will tighten up an exert pressure on your skull..... OUCH!
Basically, tight muscles are suffering from some form of inflammation. Ice will help bring the inflammation down. Drink water, take an anti-inflammatory, and ingest calcium.
Additionally, judging from your reply, the muscles @ the base of your skull and the neck muscles (to include your trapezius muscles [upper shoulderss]) may be involved. Try putting an ice pack on your upper shoulders/middle back area. This should give you marked relief within 30 minutes.
Good luck!
