Ok so how do you use the nintendo DS online? I know for games like the new gta. Mario Kart, etc. They have the option to connect to Nintendo WFC in the multiplayer options. I dont have a wireless modem but I have the nintendo usb that plugs up and gives you the wifi and that works when I connect to Nintendo WFC. But games like Contra 4. I want to play with a friend but when you go to multiplayer. It doesnt have the option to connect to NWFC. It just says create game, or join game. But I dont get how does someone connect to you then ?

You can play online through WFC (as you stated).
I believe the second option is for someone in close proximity (e.g. sitting across from you). The two DS units will connect automatically once you click an option. The friend has to be near you though.
