i have like 10,000 cards, all of which are VERY old, i dont know what any of them are worth, and digging through them one by one in google would be tiresome.
most card shops these days are all yu-gi-oh and pokemon'd out, and dont know shit about baseball cards.
is there some place i could take these, or a site to visit, where i could find values on these cards easily?
i may very well be sitting on a jackpot.

Check out local fairs if you have any coming to town over the Summer. I've sold tons of cards at fairs in my town and made a nice profit.

Click on price guides. Don't expect to get what they are listed at unless they are very rare/highly desired. Do people even buy baseball cards anymore?

The "beckett" magazine used to be a monthly magazine dedicated to baseball cards. Unfortunately, its now a paysite (you can easily google it).
Out of curiosity, how old are you talking about? Once cards became valuable, people realized collecting them could be a good investment. As an example, I have a 1988 topps "complete set". Mint condition, never opened. Its probably worth less today then it was in 1988.

They have magazines dedicated to this sort of stuff.
I have a book with baseball card values, I don't remember where it is though.

baseball cards from 1987 to 1996 are basically worthless. Card companies got greedy with the popularity of collecting and printed WAY to Many. 1986 topps print run was like a few hundred thousand. 1992's run was like 10+ million. Later on, when collecting actually lost its popularity, card companies printed less again. Once collecting became popular again in the late 90's due to the Yankees dream team (jeter etc...) card companies decided to keep the print quantities low and add cards that are rare and limited print (example: 1 of 25), and the "jersey and autograph) cards.
Now, collecting is worthwhile again as people can get cards that only have a certain amount made (example: 1 out of 25 autographed jeter).
However, the cards that are worth money are usually like 5 to 100 dollars a pack. Insane, but you could pull a card worth thousands to collectors.

Are Nascar cards worth anything?
I got albums full with a lot of autographed cards and limited edition ones.
Not that I'd sell em but since were talking about cards.
Sorry if this is a hijack op

I think it is very true that baseball card companies tried to cash in on the obvious fact that people where buying them up.
too bad that made it rather pointless. I have a bunch of baseball cards (somewhere) and it really seemed pointless years ago to see if any of them where worth anything, especially cause i knew dick about them.
