you don't need to fan much until you birth them (once they're colonised) if colonization stalls and they look dry then mist but don't mist unless they need it. once they're ready to birth then you should be fanning every day.

Technically, what you have here is not a casing, but "spawned bulk substrate".

Once it?s colonized, it can be cased with a casing layer.
