Its day 2, ive got 18 jars in a 25 gal rubbermaid container at 80-85 F. I noticed a sorta of warm wet brf smell, which doesnt seem to strange considering thats what it is... but its a little funky.. dunno if this is common or not.. no visible contams.

... funky isn't a smell I can relate to anything, so here is what to be on the smell for:

Anything that smells like beer or sometimes bread dough is most likely a yeast contamination.
Anything that smells like rotten milk, dirty socks, burning bacon, etc is most likely a bacterial contamination.
Anything that smells stale or mouldy is probably a mold or mildew contamination.

If it smells like the substrate, or has a clean earthy aroma then you are probably safe.

IMPORTANT: don't go sticking your nose in something you think is contaminated to see what it smells like. There are some very nasty microbs out there that love to grow inside people and make them sick or dead. Many of these nasty microbs can be accidently grown on the same substrate that mushrooms love.
