looks pretty fuckin awesome, i think you can get something similar from argos but cheaper

Yep, just found the one in argos. It doesn't come with an AC adapter (not that that's a problem), only has 13 preset patterns, and doesn't mention being able to do manual patterns. Overall it looks cheap and nasty and doesn't say what rating the laser is (important if you want to be able to see it). The one I linked to is 5mW (class 3A), that's more than 5 times what the standard laser pens are 
Keep the opinions coming... (mainly because I haven't got thecash to buy it yet)

your right about the argos one, they have some good light show type things at Maplin

the '5mW Graphic Laser' looks to be the best (and most expensive!) laser unit...i wonder if it is one of those that will make patterns in the sky...?

Perhaps it would be cheaper just to go the the fireworks night at alton towers I went last year, quite impressive, the lasers must be like 1000mW at least lol, it was trippy without taking anything.
Think I'll just go with the first one, maplin are dam expensive.

ive never been to see the fireworks at alton towers but i imagine a huge laser/firework show would be bloody spectacular on shrooms!
