I don't think either side, Christianity or Atheism, wants people to think for themselves. No organization does.

Big surprise that Fox News pulls in the a spokesman from the pro-god lobbyist group Family Research Council to express his views. Because everyone knows that God is for the family and a family that doesn't believe in God is not a good thing.
I liked that shirt that read, Atheism-a non-prophet group. Clever.

This is the slogan of an atheist group that has put up several of these billboards across America's highways to let non-believers know that not all Americans share the same view on God.
Naturally, Christian groups are up in arms even though this slogan is not derogatory to them, and is a fact that cannot be denied. This is the type of insanity that I so frequently mock here. These protestors are a parody of themselves.
Hundreds of Christians wrote to the originator of the billboard declaring it "hate speech" and "offensive to Christians" and the "work of Satan".
Naturally, Fox News had a hot blonde do a negative piece on this. She acted shocked and puzzled throughout the commentary.
Can't make this stuff up, folks.
Christians have this mentality that everyone is out to get them.
They believe that people hate truth, and since their beliefs represent truth secular culture will do anything to destroy their faith, in cooperation with our dark lord Satan(may his name be praised) of course.
I'm not saying all Christians are like this but this has been my experience with them.
They are secretly paranoid as well as delusional, all the right makings of a diagnosable mental illness.:D
The thing is that they are still in power right now. I wonder if they'll bite when they get cornered?
