Your opinion? Colonization (Pics)

From the videos I've seen of both RR and other misc teks on the web I've noticed a lot of the time when they're pouring out colonized rye seed that everything is not snowy white. I could never tell whether or not this was something done for editing or whether my perceptions of what "fully colonized" meant.
This is perceived 100% colonization before shaking:
And this is after shaking:
RR suggests only shaking once at around the 20-30% mark from what I've read, which I've been following. I could be interpreting this different visually though.
Is this what grain should look like before pouring into a tray to be cased later (verm/peat/ph balanced)? Or should "everything" be snowy white before I open up the jar?
Thanks,

It looks good to me. They're not always the same shade of white/off-white. It should smell...well shroomy for lack of a better word when you pour it out.

So seeing this much "uncolonized" rye seed (they could be fully colonized within the kernals I have no idea/experience to determine this) is normal?

How long did it take before you were able to see signs of mycellium growth. It's been about 2 days for me and even with an LC I see no signs of growth....

I have shaken one of my other jars outside of the suggested amount though. This one about 3x whereas the others only twice including today.
Yesterday:
Today
I shook this one 3 days ago, the recovery is looking better than the unshaken result, but maybe this is overkill.

After shaking? I see growth the next day when I take my journal pics. I compare side by side to see rate of growth/whether or not I've got a stalled jar.
After I inoculated at the beginning? After about 3 days, using a Syringe. Two inoculation points 1cc total.

Yeah you're perfectly fine. When the jars is at 100% prior to shaking its looks white and perfect, but after the shake all the mycelium gets crushed up and smashed and thats why its looks the way its done. You're perfectly fine. If you're gonna pour the grain into a tray and fruit that or case it, give it a few days to re-knit itself before you case or fruit. Otherwise dump that broken up grain and mix it with a bulk substrate, or use it to transfer to other grains.

I just put two of my jars in trays and laid things out smooth, hopefully they'll be done knitting together in the next day or two. Going to see if I can have the casing material ready by then :crosses fingers:
