return to oz
    #1000174 - 10/28/02 01:52 PM (22 years, 1 month ago)

one of the most surreal movies i've ever seen, really diving deep into subconcious worlds with very dreamy imagery, it is almost disturbing and frightening some of the ways it makesyou feel(i first saw it when i was a child). lotsa cool visual stuff, dark haunting musical themes, the story really feels like a dream you've had hundreds of times
i've heard a lot of people talk about the wizard of oz and tripping, but its childsplay compared to "return to oz". i highly recommend it.

Return to Oz is one of my favorite movies.  I'm glad to see someone else out there enjoys it.  No one I know has ever seen it and very few of them have ever heard of it.  Sorry bastards.  hehe :cool:

That movie used to freak me out when I was little because of the electro-shock therapy and the crazy wheel-hand freaks. I haven't seen it in ages though, want to really bad though.

Used to freak me out too. Didn't have any munchkins though, so it wasn't too frightening.

God I used to love that movie. I still haven't tripped but when i do this will be a must movie to see. It's so lifelike. It would probably freak me out but it would still be shrooming classic. :grin:
