I use to have up to 600 in my account on pokerstars. I lost, withdrew, traded(for cash) all of it, and now I got nothing and no bank card that lets me put money on there.
Anyone got a dollar or two you could send to my name on pokerstars?
PM ME is you can help.

Playing poker without real money is kind of like smoking weed without getting high.
Possible, but pointless.

Yep USA.
You can still....just not legally.
It's pretty overlooked, you just can't you most credit cards/bank cards. It also depends alot on where you live I think.
Unfortunately my card doesn't allow me, so I have to do a money order which takes too long. You use to be able to do it with any card and be set.
I started at 25 and won 2,000+ in about a year and a half. My biggest win was 600 bucks. Fucking 1st place outta 2,000 people. Took fucking 7-8 hours!
What I did, was I knew a lot of poker sharks/gambling addicts(seriously this one guy was bad) and they would give me cash, and I would transfer money to their account. Of course I charged a fee. The guy who was really addicted to gambling would ask for 20 bucks, then call me an hour later telling me some crazy long bad beat story, and then he'd ask for 20 more. He would usually call me 3-5 times a night.
I went a little to crazy on the high stakes tables and lost most of my bankroll. It eventually dwindled down (From like 150) to eventually nothing. Haven't been able to play since ={

Yeah, the people I sold the poker money too we use to play a live game like twice a week.
We'd usually do 20-30 buy in, with like 8 to sometimes as much as 25 people. I took first a majority of the time cause all these people sucked. They were like super aggresive all-in first hand type shit.
I would just sit and wait for good hands, cause I knew they were pushing.
I use to eat, live, and breath texas hold em for a few years during high school, it was crazy.

Playing poker online is not illegal, despite the propaganda. There are only a couple states (WA & LA) which criminalize playing online, and even there no one has ever been arrested, prosecuted or convicted for merely playing.
You can easily deposit on Pokerstars or Full Tilt if you have a checking account. No card required.

I have a checking account and it simply doesn't allow me to deposit.
When I tried to deposit it says "Sorry, but (bank name) does not permit online gambling" or something like that.

Open a new checking account at a different bank. I have never had any trouble depositing with eChecks.

You have to remember that a bank works for you. If you don't like their policies you just take your business elsewhere.

Sorry but no, I'm not going to post the name of my bank here.
But seriously, if you're having trouble depositing, just try another bank. Lots of people use eChecks successfully, it's not something unique to my particular bank.
