How much perlite do you have in you FC? If you have too little perlite you will have issues with your humidity. I don't think it can be too humid for cubes either.

I have about 3-4 inches maybe next time I'll use a bit more, but I'm prolly moving to monotubs they seem a little more maintenance-free. Thanks

You should be fine with 3-4" I have like 2 1/2-3" and my humidity stays at 90+% with misting/fanning.
Did you have that electric fan blowing directly on the FC at all? If you did that could have dried out your perlite.

No, the fan isn't facing my FC, I just don't get it. The FC and fan have been in a 8x8 closet for 7 days now and the fan has been running 24 hrs a day on the low setting. It doesn't make sense since the RH was 99% for a week and then all of a sudden drop so much and not come back up even though I added ample water and misted. That's what makes me think the outside humidity is affecting my FC, I didn't think the outside humidity would ever play a part, but what do I know?

Ambient humidity is a factor.
Try "raking" the perlite. I had the same problem:
Removed my cakes and used gloved hands to mix up the perlite. It was soaked on the bottom and dry on the top. Have been doing that once a day now (along with occasional misting) and my RH is 95%.

I did something similar, I removed my cakes/casings and I mixed up the perlite with a spatchela as I mixed I ended up pouring nearly a half gallon of water then I put everything back in and my RH still wouldn't rise into the 90's until I replaced my holey-lid with a new lid that has no holes and I taped most of the holes on the terrarium. Even with the taped sides if I put the holey-lid back on and wait a few minutes the RH drops to a steady 91-92. When the ambient humidity rises I'll begin removing the tape and hopefully my FC can sustain 99% RH. I'll post if that was my problem when I can test it. Thanks

OK I waited until today and then I started removing a little tape at a time. I removed it slowly so I could monitor the RH and make sure it stayed 99%. I thought I was cool because all the tape was off and the RH was 99%, but then I took the lid off to fan it out and when I put the lid back on the RH soon dropped to 90-91% and stabilized. I said fuck it and put the un-holey lid back on and wrapped the son of a bitch with saran wrap now I'm finally getting small droplets on the sides which indicates a good humidity to me, so I guess I'll just fan a bit more to help with FAE. hope my cakes can recover they're all a hint of blue
