Casing Questions

My friend has been trying to get his casings to fruit with little results. In a 10" x 12" pan with rye spawn cased with 50/50 mix, there is an abundance of rhizos and mycellium keep coming up thru the casing, another layer was added to avoid overlay. Still keeps colonizing the casing. The terrarium is fanned a few times a day and is humidified by perlite. Temps at 70 - 72. What holds up the fruiting stage? Should the casing be misted in addition to the perlite humidification? :confused:

you should keep it covered until you have a fairly even layer of mycelium ontop spot case the places that show too fast, then expose to lots of air drop the temp, if that dose not work cold shock them.
