Is this a psilocybe?
Habitat: In a cow pasture. Grassy. Northern Ca.
Gills: brown/tan
Stem: 2 in, 1/4 in, redish brown, smooth.
Cap: 1 in, light tan with dark nob on top, smooth, spherical
Making print-
Bruising: doesnt bruise
No smell.
What kind of agaricus is this?
Habitat: In a cow pasture. Grassy. Northern Ca.
Gills: Pink, attached with membrane.
Stem: 1-2 in, 1/2-1 in+, white, kind of scaly or has like peeling skin, solid.
Cap: From 1-4 in, white, with a little brown on some, smooth, also kind of skin on it, spherical.
Making print
Bruising: Ive had some that bruise pink that look the same, but not these. I dont think they really bruise at all.
They smell really mushroomy, and taste good. Ive ate them for some time, but someone has I think been blowing smoke and saying these are poison. I was like "cmon, you see me eat them etc"
What is this?
Habitat: Cow pasture very near creek. Same area.
Gills: are tan/brown.
Stem: 2-3 in, 1/4-1/2 in, white, I guess you could say it has tiny scales not completely smooth, hollow.
Cap: 1-2 in, cream yellow slightly darker in center, smooth, sticky, spherical.
Making print.
Bruising: I Dont think it bruises.
I think its possibly some kind of caprinoid. But I am a total amatuer.
Thanks for your time!

No.
Hard to say. If it smells nice like you say, it's edible if it doesn't stain yellow. Well, it might be edible if it stains yellow but I wouldn't eat it.
You're welcome.

The first one is a Tubaria or Galerina or Pholiota. You don't want to eat it.
The second one looks promising, what does it smell like?
Can you post some better pics of the underside in more stages of development?
Use a digital camera on macro mode.

often found in pastures is a pretty subjective statement, as i can only think of a few people who have commonly found them there.
i find them only rarely in such habitats myself, though it is about that time of year again here.
-------------------- Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

his first mushroom looks to be the same as i've been finding in local pastures. i haven't given it much thought so far, but i haven't a clue what they are. they look like Galerinas, have a rubbery texture and grow terrestrially or from well decomposed manure/straw.

It looks a little different though, right? It was just a guess, but it does look different than ones I have found.
