Confused with sizes
    #987215 - 10/23/02 04:34 PM (21 years, 5 months ago)

I have this recipe for the birdseed tek:

Recipe #1: Basic birdseed recipe

QUART jar:
250 ml birdseed
130 ml water
1 gram gypsum (optional)

PINT jar:
140 ml birdseed
80 ml water
1 knife tip full of gypsum (optional)

Quart jars are smaller arent they? So less in a quart jar......

Man, The ratio of water to the birdseed is kinda leaving me nerveous.
I poured the 80ml of water on the 140ml of birdseed and the seed just soaks it up except for about 30ml....Im thinking itll be fine because it doesnt have to be soggy right?...Anyways, just wondering
