need a good peroxide agar recipe

Hi
Im a noob and Im really trying to cut my contam risks down to a minimum with peroxide.

so heres what Ive got:
nutritional yeast
health food store agar agar
honey
karo
box o potato flakes...
so can I add h2o2 to that for to start isolating a rhizo?

..and if so, can I have a good recipe with measurements to fill about 20-30 petri dishes?

You shouldnt need it unless your working with a really badly contaminated culture.

If your doing simple agar work from indoor grown fruits, or syringes that are trusted. Regular agar will work fine, and you can always transfer away from contamants.

Sterile procedures are the key.

basically wait for agar to cool below the temp where peroxide breaks down and then add it to the agar, stir/swirl and pour the plates.

thanks but I've already read that posting, that's what kinda got me interested.
Thing is I live in the inner city or rather "da hood"
unfortunately there are no home brew shops anywhere so malt extract and dextrose are not an option. The list of ingredients that I gave above is all that's available to me.
So I just wanted to know if I can add h2o2 and if so what amounts?

just use potato and dextrose.

or use dog food agar if you can't manage to locate some dextrose.

H2O2 dosage is in the tek.

dextrose is $4ish for 2 pounds

should also be able to find it at an health food /organic grocer type store or a supplement store.
