Was spore print taken? Striations on the stem?

What was it growing from? This helps some in the habitat department.

Definitely not Panaeolus subbalteatus!
Maybe a Psathyrella species.

You're pretty nosy sometimes.  Anyone ever tell you that?

Do what I do.  Ever heard of Bible dipping?  That's where you flip the Bible open to see what you should do.  I do field guide dipping.  I whip open a field guide without looking and BANG!  that's what my mushroom is.  Works like a charm.

Alternatively you can use  :8ball:
