Woot! A question I can answer! I'm a total noob but USPS stuff I knoooooow Tell them you want the large envelopes, either Express or Priority. The cardboard envelopes are the flat-rate ones, and usually what you get if you don't specify.

Yeah, They will always give you the cheapest shit. I had to go to my local post office 3 times. Before I realized I could just use aluminum Foil...

*blinks* well yes in the PC...but that doesn't have anything to do with Tyvek. You'd have to use foil for your lids in your PC if you had a synthetic filter disc or if you had a tyvek lid.

Hey what's the Canadian equivalent of USPS priority mail envelopes?
Does Canada post carry something similar?....and free?

I picked up a suit of this for $10 at home depot, I've done around 100 jars lids with it and I'm only about halfway up one sleeve.
I know it's not free like the post office stuff, but it works great.

If you go to the usps website, type in 'tyvek' into the search engine, and it will bring up several different types of tyvek envelopes they will deliver directly to your mailbox for free. The only way it could get any better, is if I could leave my jars in the mailbox for the mailman to inoculate!

At my post office they just got piles sitting out in the PO Box aread. Grab a huge handful and dip out before people wonder why you need 200 envelopes.
