i just tried to get my credit score from freecreditreport.com and it said "Unfortunately, Experian did not return any data when we submitted the information you entered on your order form. This may be because they have no credit record for you (for example, if you have had no previous credit relationships or have recently moved to the United States from abroad) or the information you supplied did not match the information in their database."
is this normal if i dont have any credit?
also, is Triple AdvantageSM Credit Monitoring going to start billing me $14.98 a month now?

how are you supposed to get a credit card if you don't have credit yet is what I'm wondering. Unless they'll give you one.
Try getting a credit card through your bank, see if they'll let you.

your credit score isn't free man. Go to http://www.experian.com and then you can get it for like $6.95 I think. They'll give you the report for free but they charge $6.95 for the actual score

Yeah, they'll charge you for that whether or not they found anything. Be that as it may, you're entitled to one credit report query a year free. Just go to any of the three credit bureau's webpages.

you can always get your credit report free whenever you want from them. But if you want the score it's about $7

cancel it, its some bullshit.
What I recommend doing, as someone working in financial services, is to go to:
annualcreditreport.com
First, its actually free, and you don't have to sign up for shit. They give you the ability to get 1 credit report from each of the 3 agencies per year, as allowed by law. On top of that, best way to stay on your credit for 'free' and watch out for things like theft and bills being mis-mailed is to get 1 every four months, rotating the companies you get it from. Pretty much every one of them will show the same info, they rate it different ways, but same info regardless...

well, fact is, freecreditreport.com has advertisements as you say, and advertising isn't cheap, so how could they ever afford them if it was actually free??

i just called them and they canceled my membership so i wouldn't get charged. she actually said she would do it before i asked.
i did get charge $1 immediately...maybe to to make sure the account information was correct.
im wondering why i cant get my report...
she gave me a number and told me to call the bureau directly.
