My $2.50 LC container and mixer

Got it from sci-plus, there was a link in best deals thread for rubber stoppers used as injection ports, for 2.50. Takes 2 AA batteries, when button pushed creates large vortex. Not completely air tight but thats good-dont have to poke holes. Im proud of my find. They go by the name twister, I will probably be getting a few more. Just thought I would share my find.

Did you just say it is not completely air tight then that is not a good thing, that means air will leak in a d contaminate your LC because you have to way to control or filter the incoming air.

I will tape with micropore, it's just around the lid- it's tight but would allow GE where the two litlle tabs are.
In the pic you can see the gap in the lid under the tab, its tight besides under tab.

Another question how do you go about sterilizing your LC cause it looks like it would melt in the PC

Boiling water with 10% bleach solution- to clean container. I pc'ed LC in mason jar and poured in glove box and inoculated.
