If it's your first trip and since potency can vary, I'd start out with about two grams and hit the rest if you feel like you could take a little more about an hour later. I ate 1.8 grams of some self-grown powdered Thai cubes (pretty much exactly half of what you got there) last week and I tripped balls.
It's recommended to either chew them up well, so your stomach doesn't have to do all the work breaking up the mycochitin of the mushroom cell walls, or, in case chewing on them doesn't fly well with you (many people strongly dislike the taste), to shred/grind them up into small bits before you ingest them. That greatly reduces the likelihood of nausea.

Uhm, why not? I have dosed up many times. If he feels bold, then he might as well go ahead and dose a whole eigth on his first trip. If they are good that's going to be a hell of a ride.

But it was fun i just couldn't stop laughing, i couldn't form a sentence without busting out into hysterical laughter, it was awesome

Sure, I've done that a bunch of times, its a good way to play it safer. Of course eat them on an empty stomach or at least 3 to 4 hours of consuming food. Then take about 1500mg of a good tasting chewable Vitamin C.

So did you?
BTW, puking might return you to reality a bit, but it shouldn't end the trip, as the active compounds are already in your system and puking doesn't remove them. So that's weird.

Well, it can happen. It has happened to me, too. Everyone says to eat them on an empty stomach, because it will make the trip stronger, but I noticed that I don't have the stomach problems when I eat about an hour before taking cubensis, so fuck the ghetto teks to make more out of what you got, I'll just eat a gram or two more, I have more than I can ever eat anyways. And I use a coffee grinder to grind them into a powder. That helps as well.
