Pineapple Express is great. I'm not much of a movie person so I can't help you out. When I went and saw Pineapple Express the theater left the lights on for thirty minutes to make sure no one was toking up during the movie. Luckily I hotboxed on the way there.

I hate Pineapple Express. I would rec'd Fear and Loathing as well as a Clockwork Orange.

Agreed, Pineapple Express was terrible, it was the only movie I've walked out on in the past 10 years.
Semi-Pro is good for a laugh. If you're interested in an older selection allow me to suggest Slackers (dir. Richard Linklater), it could be described as a live action precursor to Waking Life (also dir. by Linklater).

I just watched "In the Name of the Father". It came out in the mid-90s. Tells the story of the Guilford Four(of which I had never heard of before this movie). It gets my recommendation.
Edit: But if you are looking for something along the lines of Pineapple Express this may not be your movie.

We have like, exactly the opposite taste in movies.

I have most of the older movies that I want already.
When I need ideas on somewhat new movies, I like to browse the list here and work backwards. I can usually come up with a nice list to download pretty quickly.
