Hmm, do you know what these are? Looks like a Psilocybe or Hypholoma perhaps.
7
Huh. Those also look pretty interesting. Any more photos?
14 15
Nice Psilocybe cyanescens!
16
WOAH, wtf are those??? Did you collect those? Forget the sign, those are very interesting! They are clearly an active Psilocybe species! You can see the bluing on the margin. That veil is really peculiar! If you can remember where these were and collect some in the future, please make some spore prints and dry the mushrooms.
All of those above are active or potentially active species, in case you didn't know....

Thanks for the positive feedback. CureCat, #4 is P. Azurescens, #7 could be Galerina? I didnt mess with them much but here is another pic of the same cluster.

#16 I found these in October at around 2,000ft. I didnt collect any but I know the exact spot I found them, heres a few more pics.

not sure if they're all the same, but they were all on the same log.

#7 looks more like a Psilocybe than Galerina at those angles, though both are distinct possibilities. If you see something similar or return to the spot, then try and get some shots of the underside and dry a collection for reference.
The first two more photos from the same log as #16 are the same, and the second two could be, but I'm not positive. Either way, whenever the season hits, please try and make a collection and get a spore print! They are active, I'm quite sure.

They look an awful lot like Galerinas to me, although that annulus is a little more flamboyant than I'm used to.

Well, the sign is near the entrance of a park that is known (by just about everyone it seems) to have Azurescens.
I have a question too. Could #17 be Gyms? I didnt take any of them so I dont know the spore print color. The caps were 6-8 inches across, there was 20 or so clustered together growing from a log. Found in Oct. If they are Gyms, possibly active?

Number 17 definitely looks like a Gymnopilus species and could be active, DO NOT EAT ANY OF NUMBER 16, I agree with Alan, that is Galerina marginata and is very toxic. What mushrooms are in 12 and 13? inski.

Cool healthy looking azurecens in #4, that tree in #21 has got it going on with a vengeance.

First time I found them I thought I had stumbled on some sort of super gym, which was of course a new species, and could only be found in the one creek drainage I found it in. Wishful thinking. They sure are pretty though.:)

They are very similar. I don't suppose you remember what kind of tree they were growing with. Rubrilacteus is supposed to grow with Douglas Fir, while deliciosus grows with pines (I find it associated with spruce, but...). Also, rubrilacteus is supposed to have a darker red latex, as opposed to deliciosus' carrot colored latex.

And whats the deal with the blue on these guys?

Interesting. Yeah, tough call.
The L. deliciosus I find generally like healthy mixed forests, so it is kind tough to say exactly what tree they are growing with, I just generally find them in areas where Engleman spruce predominates.
Descriptions for L. rubrilacteus generally say they stain a deep red where cut, but in plenty of pictures of "them" the staining looks pretty orange to me.
As for the green staining, I can't find any info on what causes it.
Next year try to get a better feel for what kind of trees predominate in the areas directly around where you pick these specimens, and get some good longitudinal cross sections of the fruitbodies.:)

Great photos Shroom360. I'm sure you're as itchy as I am for the spring to bring more NW mushrooms to hunt for. It's been a cold winter so far here.
