ok so pretty much its really easy to make
(things needed) honey (preferably pure raw honey)
cacao (preferably raw cacao from health store) tho Hersey's powder works too, the yucky tasting stuff thats probably in your kitchen for cooking and you wouldnt want to eat
{optional} coffee beans grinded
peanut butter
maple syrup
put a nice size amount of honey in a small bowl pretty much the amount you would want to eat then add cocoa powder and stir.
as you stir you will see it will start to look like pudding, its important to taste it once you get it to the point it looks like pudding if its too sweet add more cocoa and then add as much as you need to get it to the consistency you would like and taste you would like.
once thats achieved pour in mushroom powder and then stir till it looks like it did before you added the mushrooms.
the other things like peanut butter can be added or coffee.
this is vegan food chocolate
my friend made it for me with out the mushrooms it was so good i started making it. the first thing i did when i got some mushrooms i threw the powder in the mix and it taste yummy

have you noticed any loss of potency when you put them in chocolate as opposed to just eating them plain?

i have had mushroom chocolates done with the double boiler way and had not problems. i have yet to eat mushrooms in this matter but have made it and will there shouldnt be any loss of potency for any reason. its just gona make em taste way better and RAW chocolate/honey in this manner gives you a high on its own. so when you come down from the raw chocolate/honey high you will get hit by the mushrooms

if you have never tried weilii then dont comment kid. Weilii taste like shit and are not good mushrooms for chocolates, in the ten years of picking them i can tell you that.
Most people put mushrooms in chocolate to make them A. easier to consume and B. make em taste better
as stated above weilii taste like crap and will ruin the flavor
cubes in chocolate = good...weilii in chocolate = bad

they are weilii i wonder how you know any who
this method is extremely sweet tasting and does infact over power the taste of weilii i used a motar and pestle to grind the weilii into a fine powder then mixed with peanut butter, cocao powder hershey tho, and clover honey. i dont have the means to get health food quality cocao or honey at the time.
i didnt eat it yet totally saving for the right time with a close friend who has their own mushrooms. but i did taste it and it was yummy.
i suggest you make the taste right before you add the mushrooms then taste after mushrooms are added and decide of you need more coaco or more maple if you use maple

Chocolate is much more difficult to work with than many people realize. For example once it gets over a certain temperature you are going to alter the taste of the chocolate. If you get water in the chocolate, even a drop, it can turn into this chunky gunk. It still tastes good, but becomes extremely hard to work with. I highly suggest reading up on chocolate manipulation and getting a candy thermometer.

this is a great idea. though it's not vegan, honey is an animal by-product.
