NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A complaint from a neighbor led Metro police to a stash of drugs in west Nashville, police said.

Police said they found more than 204 grams of mushrooms, 275 ecstasy pills, pot and more than $12,000 in cash.

Officers went to the home on 18th Avenue South on a tip, and the people who lived there let them in with the drugs in plain view, said police.

"I think lots of times people just don't think that the police will be observant once they get inside when we're talking to people, but we're always observant when we're talking to people," said Lt. Nancy Fielder.

Police arrested one man and gave another man a citation.

Or, police usually say everything was in plain view - they will ask for it and they people are afraid so they show it and police just say it was in the open. Stupid lies.
