You won't roll from that. You'll just get incredibly tired.
Maybe you'll be extra trusting and cuddling will feel good, but you won't be rolling.
@AuralSects, yeah It's called the Sassafras tree.
BZP does NOT = E, no matter how many companies say it does.

Methamphetamine but I highly discourage using it. It's found in Acacia berlandieri and possibly Acacia rigidula.

Some hippy type I got into an argument with said something about BZP being the "natural" alternative to MDMA. I knew she was dumb from the looks of her and usually it does not work that way.

Nutmeg contains safrole and myristicin both of which are structurally similar and give a noticeable high.

Nutmeg is awesome, but I wouldn't recommend it as an E alternative

I've never found anything to capture the unique "magic" of MDMA. It depends what you mean. The psychedelic effects, the body effects, what? The closest I've ever come (or rather, gone beyond) mentally is the spiritual ecstasy of oral DMT. Same empathogenic effects and thoughts. Mescaline also produces those.
The body rush of DMT/harmala is like rolling, the difference being that you feel a lot free-er. On MDMA you can feel momentum when you move and that's lacking.
The closest ever to the MDMA state I have been is on syrian rue alone. In my experience this doesn't produce the psychedelic effects but it produces EVERYTHING else, it just feels slightly "off". Syrian rue is amazing, take a low dose on the threshold of getting psychedelic effects, if you're seeing ghostly tracers then you've taken too much.
I'm sure in a few years the actual "magic" will be traced down to some brain chemical or other and we'll find ways to get it going. Until then, settle for the dizzle or if you want "herbal ecstasy" then syrian rue is very good at handling that. Throw in a very low dose of DMT and it's a nice substitute. You're not getting any closer to MDMA than low dose ayahuasca, I've had enough gram in me to know the molly inside and out. Of course I haven't tried a lot of other drugs so I'm open to all views. I thought 2C-B was meant to be the closest?

In it lies complete fulfillment. It will never become something it is not, but it will never need to be anything else." - Wiccan_Seeker "If boring drudgery was the way of the universe, everything would have killed itself long ago." - Spacerific

I tend to agree. The experience of an MAO-Inhibitor like Syrian Rue is probably most similar to MDMA of any single natural substance I've taken. Maybe some combination of Syrian Rue (or equivalent) with the proper doses of a natural stimulant and a hallucinogen would yield an experience vaguely approximating that of MDMA. (Of course proper safety precautions must be followed with MAOIs.)

hmm this sounds interesting but what stimulants have been known to be safe with syrian rue? i could imagine taking a low dose of LSA (with peppermint oil) with rue extract.... would this work? it sounds like it could be an alternative. has anyone done this?

Ecstasy is a Phenethylamine alkaloid; a combination of a stimulant and a psychedelic. If you wanted to find something similar that is natural I would think Mescaline. Perhaps with a stimulant to achieve the rush, such as an amphetamine.
